How to open and close the rare boot?
To open
You can either 1. select the command from the touchscreen homepage or 2. push the button above the license plate
To close
You can either 1. push the button on the inside of the boot door or 2. push the door down
How to open and close the front boot?
To open
Select the command from the touchscreen homepage
To close
Please slowly lower the front boot cover until it rests on the car, place both palms on top of the front boot cover and then gently push down.
Please do not slam or drop the cover.
How to open and close the glove box?
To open the glovebox, please select the car icon on the touchscreen to display Quick Controls. Then select the Glovebox button.
You can close the glovebox by gently pushing it upward with your hand.
Charging your phone in the Tesla
There are two ways to charge your phone in the Tesla. You can either charge it with the USB and/or USB-C charging ports or without a charging cable.
Charge with a USB and/or USB-C cable
Please prepare your charging cable. The USB-C ports are located under the rear A/C vent, and one standard USB port and one USB-C port are situated underneath the tray used for wireless phone charging.
Charge without a charging cable
The front of the console has a non-slip phone tray which provides wireless charging for up to two Qi-enabled smartphones. Simply place your smartphone on the tray to charge.
