Search your pick-up and drop-off locations and dates on hertz.is, then follow the five-step booking process — Search, Rates, Extras, Book, Confirm — to choose your car and complete your reservation. Select Pay Later, Pay Now — Flexible or Pay Now — Non-refundable, and review your chosen rate’s cancellation and modification conditions before confirming.
Breaking it Down
After you search, the Rates step shows available vehicles filterable by category (Compact, Economy, Intermediate, SUV, Passenger Vans, Electric Cars, Luxury, Camper and Special Vehicles), sortable by Best Value, Lowest Price or Highest Price, with prices displayed in your chosen currency.
Choose from three payment options:
- Pay Later: Pay at pick-up. Cancel free of charge up to your scheduled pick-up time.
- Pay Now — Flexible: Pay when you book for a discounted rate. Cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled pick-up time for a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Pay Now — Non-refundable: Pay when you book and get the highest discount of the three options. No changes or modifications are permitted once your booking is confirmed. No refund is available if you cancel or do not collect the vehicle, regardless of the reason. The 72-hour free-cancellation window does not apply to this rate.
