Breaking it Down
Long-term contracts typically run 12–36 months, though shorter or longer terms can be arranged, and there’s also a dedicated winter rental option (September–May, or as short as 3–4 months) for renters who only need a car part of the year. The rate includes servicing, maintenance, tires, insurance, and road-related fees — the renter only covers fuel/energy. Cars are handed over and returned at Selhella 5, Hafnarfjörður (Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00), with delivery typically taking 1–5 days depending on season and vehicle. Rental price is indexed to the Iceland local consumer price index (CPI) and adjusts periodically. Driving the vehicle outside Iceland isn’t permitted under any circumstance.
